Powell Family

 
Antoinette and her children, London (14), Carter (10), and Avery (6), are lifelong residents of Bloomington. The Powell family has two dogs: Loki and Freya.
 

Antoinette is an esthetician at Antoinette’s Beauty Shop, located inside Mes Amis Salon and Day Spa.
 

Antoinette enjoys camping, traveling, gardening, ancestry, Reiki, and esthetics.
 

London loves soccer and volleyball. She is a typical teenage girl that loves shopping, being with her friends, and Starbucks.
 

Carter loves to prank and tell jokes. He also enjoys anime, playing Xbox, and spending time with his friends and family. He loves anything BBQ.
 

Avery loves participating in beauty pageants (she is currently Little Miss McLean County) and playing soccer with her sister. She enjoys arts and crafts, digging in the dirt, and playing Barbies. Her favorite people are her dad and her teacher.
 

The Powell Family will be partnering with Women Build to build their future home.
 

Antoinette on what this opportunity means:

“I have thought of this question a lot. I cannot express what it means to me and my family. This is the beginning of a new life for us in a healthy, safe environment that I personally will build for my family to grow and flourish in. A place my father can access to spend time with my children and enjoy holidays and special occasions together.
