Illinois Affordable Housing Tax Credit
IAHTC encourages private investment in affordable housing by providing donors of qualified donations with a one-time tax credit on their Illinois state income tax equal to 50% of the value of the donation. The donor also can choose to transfer the credits to the project, which creates additional project financing through syndication (sale) of the credits.
If you have donated $1,000 or more over the previous 3 years or would like to make a donation, Habitat for Humanity of McLean County intends on completing a state tax credit application in 2026.

We are also a designated Paint Care (@werecyclepaint) drop off location, so you can bring your old latex, acrylic, and enamel paint as well as primers, sealers, and stains for proper recycling!
