Partner Family
Aguirre-Orellana Family
Deisy Aguirre-Orellana is originally from El Salvador. She has been in the area now for 7 years.
Deisy is employed by Cintas in Normal. She was encouraged by a co-worker who is one of our other partner families, the Kisembo family, to contact us to see if she would qualify to partner with Habitat for homeownership.
She is a member of First Assembly of God in Normal. In her free time, she enjoys walking and watching TV. She is currently studying English as a Second Language at Heartland Community College.
She has a grown daughter and grandson, whom she enjoys spending time with.
When asked about what building with Habitat means to her, she said it was an answered prayer. It means starting a whole new chapter in her life. She looks forward to a newfound safety, security, and unity with our Habitat Family.
